My name is Katelyn Doty-Mason and i am a metal major attending college SUNY New Paltz. I originally intended to be a drawing/paining major so a lot of my work still is based in that.
I do commissions as well just drop a request in my ask and we will disscuss the finer points.

This is a self portrait of myself I did last year in drawing one as the final project. It’s huge, two and a half me’s at the width and about shoulder height. The picture is a little iffy on this but I can never manage a good one. Thinking of making prints of it.

My ceramics project, penguins owls and albino peacocks. I wish everything else came out as well as the penguins all well. the bowls should have come out better too :(

I got accepted into the metals BFA program!

I felt like I was terrible at drawing today so I starting drawing this to convince myself otherwise. I’d say it’s a good start.

Bird Mugs and Tumblers!

In ceramics I am making bird mugs and tumblers it’s great. There are owl ones and penguin ones and maybe tucans and ravens. They will be so Cute! Ant I think the bowls that go with them will be their habitats Pictures coming soon once they are made painted and fired in the coming weeks.
